Ghazal Vahora is an associate attorney of Smith Reed & Armstrong, PLLC and focuses her practice on employment, healthcare, and general business matters. She is passionate about what she does, and loves that it gives her the opportunity to help people.
Prior to joining Smith Reed & Armstrong, PLLC in 2016, Ghazal was the associate attorney at The Law Office of Mark Smith. She also served as a judicial clerk with the Honorable Judge Patricia J. Kerrigan where she gained valuable insight and procedural experience. Additionally, Ghazal worked as a law clerk in the regulatory and compliance departments of a global pharmaceutical company in Chicago and a mid-sized law firm in the Houston area.
Ghazal graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Law, Politics, and Society. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, recognized for having one of the top 10 health law programs in the United States, where she was Articles Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and the Dean’s Award Recipient for academic excellence in the Health Law Program.
Outside of professional activities, Ghazal loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends, and enjoys working on DIY projects.
